My name is Jada Atkins, I'm a 10 year old 4th grader who was recently diagnosed with a Wilms (kidney) Tumor. I live in Greenville, SC with my mother and father. I have 2 younger brothers named Victory and Major. I love to sing, dance and have fun with my family. Because of this tumor I have not been able to play with my friends or have fun as much as a normal 4th grader but I know this experience will make me stronger. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy to reduce the size of my tumor. Once the tumor has been reduced to a smaller size I will undergo surgery to have it removed. After my surgery I will have additional chemotherapy and radiation treatments to make sure the cancer is completely gone. I am fighting this battle with all my heart and I hope that you will join me on my journey to fight cancer.
